The largest gun promoter in Florida, Florida Gun Shows, held a gun convention in Miami on Saturday, just three days after seventeen people were killed in a shooting spree at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
The event, which was scheduled months in advance, featured 600 booths of guns, assault rifles, ballistic protection and other arms items. Attendees were able to purchase guns, sign up for concealed carry classes and enter a lottery to win a free hand gun or rifle.
The convention will run in Miami until Sunday evening, before heading to Tampa on February 24.
