North and South Wings, Presidential Suites, Shilla Hotel

When LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault or actor Brad Pitt comes to town for the latest fashion event or movie press circuit, they kick back at one of the two Presidential Suites at the Shilla Hotel.

The 280.9-square-meter South Wing’s decor is a blend of traditional Korean and a more modern aesthetic, while the 390-square-meter North Wing features an interior in the vein of Parisian palaces.

Lavish details include 24-hour butler service, a Finnish dry sauna, Bvlgari amenities and a helicopter-landing zone.

The W Hotel’s 273-square-meter Extreme Wow Suite wins the most points for the most creative name, as well as the most modern decor. Every room is a colorful photo-op, with bright decor to match the sleekly modern and simple furniture.

Guests relax in a Jacuzzi with a spectacular view of the Han River with music or movies playing on the Bose home theater.

The suite as hosted everything from fabulous fashion shows to music video and film shoots. Names on its celebrity guest list include, Zhang Ziyi, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and Whitney Houston.

Presidential Suite, Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Grand Hyatt’s 325-square-meter, 7-room Presidential Suite shows off one of the most sprawling skyline views in the city from its floor-to-ceiling windows on the 20th floor.

The master bath, crafted from Italian marble, comes with an elevated Jacuzzi, a sauna, a traditional shower and a surround shower for guests who wanted to be pelted with water from all sides.

Past famous guests include Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Neutral tones decorate this spacious suite, located on the 18th floor of the newly renovated Westin Chosun Hotel.

With a full-stocked office room and a meeting room, the suite is particularly well-suited for business arrangements.

Each room can be separated by sliding wooden doors for privacy or left open to experience the room as one huge open space.

Presidential Suite, Park Hyatt Seoul

At the Presidential Suite at this Gangnam hotel, guests can have their own private, romantic dinner served by their personal butler in front of the fireplace.

Three specially designed floor-to-ceiling windows overlook one of the most interesting views in Seoul — a wonderful mix of mountains, skyscrapers and temples.

The exquisitely cut natural stone used in the master bathroom was shipped from China and Japan.

At 45 square meters, the largest suite at the Palace Hotel is pint-sized compared to the others on our list, and accordingly the most affordable.

Aficionados of Korean art will appreciate their stay at minimalist but comfortable suite, as the art adorning the walls are all original works by Korean photographer Kim Joong-man, who was specially commissioned by the Seoul Palace Hotel to prepare each work.

The coolest feature in the 330-square-meter Royal Suite at The Plaza is the rain forest shower in the master bath. Water rains down from the entire ceiling on beautifully cut marble. An in-room sauna and a flickering fireplace finishes off the list for a perfectly restful, luxurious stay.

At 460 square meters, the Royal Suite at the Lotte Hotel is the largest suite on our list.

Along with the usual well-stocked workspace, guests are also provided with a mobile phone with paid service.
